A Memorial for Or L'Simcha Congregation of Pittsburgh
Following the tragedy of the shooting at the Or L’Simcha Congregation in Pittsburgh, Kehillat joined with Jewish communities around the world in the #showupforshabbat movement to express solidarity with their community, and strength in the face of violence and hatred. Kehillat was glad to be joined in solidarity by the Moishe House, the Congregation of the Good Sephard, members of the LGBTQ community, and other members of the wider Beijing community. We gathered for discussion, reflection, prayer, healing, and mourning. Kehillat was deeply warmed by all who joined us during this difficult time.
